1. Appendicitis Pain

Irwan also experienced appendicitis, which worsened his financial condition. Indeed, a person's journey is always full of ups and downs.

"Yesterday I was really bankrupt, suffering from appendicitis," said Irwan Chandra as reported by detikhot, South Jakarta, on Friday (13/9/2024).

2. Irwan's Fears

Irwan Chandra admitted that he was once afraid of not being able to get acting jobs anymore due to the scarcity of opportunities. However, he managed to rise from his life's downturn after experiencing bankruptcy and divorce.

Although he was once popular as an artist, Irwan Chandra now has to struggle with the latest news about his health condition, which is deteriorating, and he shares about his bankruptcy.

3. Almost Died

Irwan Chandra revealed that he once experienced a critical condition when he had appendicitis a few years ago. At that time, he was almost dead because he had to undergo surgery alone without any family to accompany him.

"I almost died, being sick alone in the middle of the operation with no support system at all. Even my family was out of town and were shocked, 'How come you already had surgery? No one helped you, no one took care of you' eventually, friends came after I reached out to the journalists," explained Irwan Chandra.

4. Join the Ministry at Church

Irwan Chandra decided to join the ministry at a church congregation after experiencing his divorce. He felt that his involvement in church activities restored his lost spirit of life.

Previously, Irwan served as an associate pastor, but now he focuses more on being an evangelist and preaching at various churches.
