Three 'TIRA' Series Actors Share Their Experience During the Shooting Process, Full of Challenges and Full Choreography

Kapanlagi.com - The main cast of the series 'TIRA' consisting of Chelsea Islan, Bhisma Mulia, and Agnes Naomi, shared their experiences during the filming process of the series produced by Screenplay Films and Bumilangit. Chelsea Islan, who played the character Suci, expressed that her role in this series brought her various challenges and new experiences.

"There are definitely many challenges and also many new experiences because this is an action film. Besides being a superhero, it is mostly action, and it involves full choreography. From three months of training, from there the script, riding, we read the script, script surgery, chemistry between the actors, getting to know each other," said Chelsea Islan at the Kapanlagi Youniverse office, Monday (27/11/2023).

According to Chelsea, the production process of this series is indeed short, especially in the longer shooting process compared to the preparation. However, for her, this experience is truly extraordinary because she is involved with all the actors and crew who have become like family. They spent 72 days or even more together, and this process is very memorable for her.

"The process is quite short for a series of this size. Because even the shooting takes longer than the preparation. I mean here we choreograph a lot. For me personally, this is an extraordinary experience, of course, with all the cast and crew who have become like family, 72 days together and even more, there is a process of reading," he said.

Meanwhile, Agnes Naomi, who plays Maudi, revealed that the main challenge during the shooting was facing several emotional and physically demanding scenes. However, she emphasized the importance of bringing the right emotions into the dynamics of the story. For her, these challenges are part of the job, and everyone must stay physically fit because this is a collective work.

"The challenge is more about certain scenes that require us to be emotionally and physically heavy. But we bring it into the right dynamics. Actually, the challenge is there. Everyone has their own part, and we have to stay fit because we work collectively," said Agnes.

Unlike Chelsea Islan and Agnes Naomi's experiences, Bhisma Mulia, who plays Ben, does not feel any specific challenges during the shooting process of the 'Tira' series. For him, this film as a superhero series is highly anticipated, and the challenge in this role is more enjoyable because it is supported by a good working environment and a close relationship with friends in production.

"“The challenge is actually this superhero film that I've been waiting for. So the challenge doesn't feel too much because it's supported by a good working environment, having fun with the cast and crew. So the challenge can be overcome with fun, and shooting fatigue is not felt," he said.

Serial 'TIRA' is produced by Screenplay Films and Bumilangit. It airs on Disney+ Hotstar starting from December 16, 2023. This series tells the story of Suci or Tira (Chelsea Islan), a college student who has a dream to become a talented stuntwoman.

However, there is one thing that hinders her from realizing her dream. Suci has acrophobia, or commonly known as a fear of heights. Considering that being a stuntwoman is a demanding job involving high places in several scenes, Suci must be able to overcome her fear.

Time passes quickly and Suci enjoys every process of training herself to overcome her fear and become a talented stuntwoman. Until one day, Suci gets involved in an ancient conspiracy that threatens her life after saving nine children from a mysterious ritual. That event changes everything for Suci, who now has to balance her rising career, maintain her values and scholarship, while trying to save her life.
