Tiktoker Jhon LBF Reveals Gratitude for the Appointment of Arif Edison as a Suspect: My Good Name Has Been Tarnished

The appointment was made by the investigators of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police after two pieces of evidence were found regarding the Information and Electronic Transactions Law (ITE Law) case.

The appointment of Arif Edison has been made since October 13, 2023. Then, in the near future, Arif Edison is confirmed to undergo examination as a suspect.

"Today, we want to give news regarding our report where we received news that Arif Edison has been appointed as a suspect for articles 310, 311 that we reported on February 21, 2023," said Machi Achmad, John LBF's lawyer, when met at the Jakarta Metropolitan Police on Tuesday (10/17).

In the same opportunity, John LBF is grateful for the suspect designation against Arif Edison. Because Jhon LBF's long wait finally paid off.

"On October 13, we just received it (the letter) and it has been designated as a suspect, as for the future, Arif Edison will be called from the reported status to a suspect," he continued.

"Grateful to Allah SWT that on October 17, I went to the Metro Jaya Police to get the good news of Arif Edison's suspect designation," said John LBF.

2. Accused of Cheating Up to 1.8 Billion

Then, John LBF revealed Arif Edison's alleged desire to tarnish his name through statements that were considered inappropriate. Whereas, John feels that he has never done anything harmful to others.

"That this is actually the beginning of this person wanting to gain popularity through me, wanting to use me to become famous, wanting to slander me, accusing me. I have been living my life with gratitude, never wanting to do anything strange. Never wanting to harm others, doing business in the right way, everything brings positive benefits to Indonesian society and contributes significantly to the country," he concluded.

For information, John LBF, a businessman and TikToker who often goes viral on social media, reported Arif Edison's lawyer, the legal counsel of PT Adidharma Ekaprana, to the Jakarta Metro Police, on Tuesday (21/2). This report was made after PT Adidharma Ekaprana, through its legal counsel, filed a civil lawsuit regarding allegations of fraud by Hive Five, a company owned by John LBF, which is said to have caused a loss of Rp1.8 billion.
