The news regarding the health condition of senior actor Tio Pakusadewo is currently attracting public attention. The 62-year-old film and theater star is undergoing intensive treatment after experiencing health issues related to his heart.
This information was conveyed by his friend and fellow artist, Dewi Irawan. She revealed that the star of the film SURAT DARI PRAHA needs special medical attention to monitor the development of his condition.
Dewi explained that the health issues experienced by Tio did not arise suddenly. A few months ago, the Jakarta-born man underwent medical procedures on his heart.
"Four months ago, Uncle Tio had a heart stent put in," said Dewi Irawan to the media crew on Thursday (6/4/2026).
Although he has to undergo treatment in the hospital, Tio's condition is reported to be quite stable. Dewi confirmed that the actor is still able to communicate with the people who come to visit him. "Uncle Tio is conscious and communicative (when visited)," said Dewi Irawan.
The news about Tio Pakusadewo's health actually surfaced in May 2026. At that time, several friends and fellow artists showed moral support after Tio underwent treatment in the hospital.
One of those who shared Tio's condition at that time was actor Agus Wibowo. However, at that time there was no detailed explanation regarding the illness that caused the senior actor to require medical treatment.
