Tips Stay Young and Healthy Ala Armand Maulana, Not Smoking Until Dieting for 10 Years

Kapanlagi.com - At the age of 49, singer Armand Maulana always looks young and energetic on stage. When asked about the secret to his youthfulness, Dewi Gita's husband is actually confused. But one thing for sure, he always takes care of his body, one of which is by never smoking.

"I'm confused, reporters ask, there are many comments asking about the secret. It just happens that I don't like smoking, I've never smoked, that's true," said Armand Maulana during a virtual R&R Talks, Friday (12/6).

1. Routine Exercise

Not only that, he has also enjoyed sports since childhood. In fact, because of being too addicted to sports, he once suffered from hepatitis.

"I have always been obsessed with sports since I was a child. Even in 5th grade, if I'm not mistaken, I had liver, hepatitis if (that's what it's called) now. Because I did too much exercise, my eating habits were messed up, and being a child, it's not surprising that my eating habits were messed up due to excessive exercise. But from there, I couldn't stop exercising," he said.

2. 10-Year Diet

In addition, the vocalist of the band GIGI has also undergone a 10-year diet. He didn't eat fried foods and only ate boiled and grilled foods.

"I used to have a clean diet for 10 years, now I'm letting go, feeling a bit bored. During the diet, I didn't eat fried foods, no salt, just boiled and grilled foods. Carbs were also rarely consumed, mostly protein and vegetables," he explained.

But because he got bored, he no longer follows that diet but still chooses which foods are good to consume.

"Maybe because it's been 10 years, even though I'm letting go now, I still have my own filter, not to overdo it, maybe that's it, I don't have any specific recipes," concluded Armand Maulana.
