Diet for Netizens, Via Vallen Becomes More Stressed and Worried, Instead Gaining Weight

In her interview with Melaney Ricardo, Via explained the reason why she decided to take a break from television. It turns out that the dangdut singer from East Java experienced depression due to harsh comments from netizens.

Many negative comments were received by Via which made her ask her management team not to accept any TV appearances for now. One of them is harsh criticism about her body being called fat by netizens.

1. Stress and Constant Eating

When reading comments saying that she is fat, Via decided to go on a diet. But it turns out that it only made her more stressed.

"Yesterday I tried to diet, I had a treatment that made my cheeks swollen, and then I got stressed. When I'm stressed, I can eat, even when I'm full I keep eating until I vomit. Instead of getting thin, I actually gained weight," Via said.

2. Weight Loss Attempt

But it doesn't mean that Via's diet completely failed. She managed to lose weight for a while. Unfortunately, it didn't last long because she experienced stress again.

"I gained weight again. I tried to diet again, lost weight again, but when I read certain things or heard certain news, I got stressed again and started eating again. That's how I cope," she expressed.

3. Finding Motivation

During that moment, Melaney gave encouragement to Via, who shed tears. She said that not everyone will be happy with Via's success.
