To Compete with Nana's Charm in the Soap Opera 'BUKU HARIAN SEORANG ISTRI', Hana Saraswati Has to Sacrifice Her Long Hair

Kapanlagi.com - The role of Hana Saraswati as Alya in the soap opera BUKU HARIAN SEORANG ISTRI really makes the audience emotional. She always tries to ruin the happiness of Dewa played by Cinta Brian and Nana played by Zoe Jackson.

Portraying the third person character in the midst of Dewa and Nana's relationship, Hana had to sacrifice her long hair. She revealed this on Hot Shot in early February 2021.

According to her, Hana will look younger with short hair. As a result, she had to let go of her long hair.

"They say that if I have short hair, I will look much younger than with long hair. So I cut it short," said Hana Saraswati.

Actually, Hana's hair wasn't cut as short as it is now. But because of the demands of Alya's role as a contender for Nana's love interest, Hana was asked to cut her hair even shorter.

"Initially, it was cut this short (shoulder length) so it could still be tied up, still be styled. Suddenly, in the middle of the shooting, we had to make Alya and Nana equally beautiful, so Hana cut her hair even shorter," she explained.

This sacrifice was made so she could portray Alya's character well. In addition, this 24-year-old actress also had to show total commitment in her acting.

"The key is not to be afraid of looking ugly. Don't be afraid of looking ugly, don't be afraid of looking like crying with a distorted face. Don't be afraid of getting angry and having your nose become swollen or anything," she concluded.
