Total Mediation Failure, Wardatina Mawa Insists on Divorce from Insanul Fahmi

A new chapter in the household drama of Insanul Fahmi and Wardatina Mawa has begun. The first divorce mediation process that brought them together at the Religious Court in Medan, North Sumatra, on Wednesday (25/03/2026) ended without a resolution.

As is known, Wardatina Mawa filed for divorce from her husband following allegations of infidelity involving Insanul Fahmi and Inara Rusli. Now, Mawa is showing her seriousness in ending the marriage. Here are the details.

According to Mawa's attorney, Muhammad Idrus, the mediation process that took place today was a total failure. Mawa remains firm in her stance to separate.

"So, here's the thing, earlier the mediation... yes, both parties were brought together, eh, from the plaintiff and the defendant. And it just so happened that the mediation failed. The plaintiff still wants to separate," said Muhammad Idrus during a virtual interview on Wednesday (25/03/2026).

Idrus also described the atmosphere in the mediation room, which initially felt awkward at the beginning of the meeting. Although it eventually thawed, both parties still kept their distance.

"I saw it was awkward at first, yes. However, over time it became more like usual. But they still kept their distance," he added.

Interestingly, the side of Insanul Fahmi reportedly does not object to Mawa's desire for divorce. "The defendant does not object to separating. Logically, that already answers the question of whether they want to separate quickly or not... they want to separate, that's it," Idrus explained.

One of the main reasons for the failure of this mediation is the lack of agreement regarding the claims for iddah and mut'ah support proposed by Mawa. "In the mediation earlier, the requests from the plaintiff were not fulfilled. That will continue in the upcoming trial," he stated.

With the failure of this mediation, the divorce process will move on to the next trial stage. Mawa seems to be determined to start a new chapter in her life.
