Two Employees Become Witnesses in the Divorce Hearing of Ruben Onsu and Sarwendah at the South Jakarta District Court

Kapanlagi.com - The divorce hearing of Ruben Onsu and Sarwendah Tan was held again at the South Jakarta District Court on Tuesday, August 20, 2024. This time, two employees who work in Ruben Onsu's household were presented as witnesses for the plaintiff.

The presence of the two witnesses was confirmed by Tiara Oktavia, the legal team for Ruben Onsu. She also added that both witnesses are employees who work at Ruben Onsu's home.

"Today’s agenda is the testimony of witnesses from Mr. Ruben. There are two witnesses," said Tiara at the South Jakarta District Court on Tuesday (20/8/2024).

"They are employees in Ruben's house, two people," she added.

1. Content of Witness Testimony

The statements given by both witnesses relate to the household conditions between Ruben Onsu and Sarwendah. However, after the trial, both chose to remain silent and quickly left the South Jakarta District Court without making any comments to the media that had been waiting. Tiara Oktavia was also reluctant to provide much information regarding the proceedings.

2. Ruben and Sarwendah Did Not Attend the Trial

In this hearing, Ruben Onsu was only represented by his legal team. Sarwendah herself did not attend the trial. It is known that Ruben Onsu filed for divorce from Sarwendah Tan at the South Jakarta District Court. The lawsuit was filed through his attorney, Minola Sebayang, on June 9, 2024.

In this lawsuit, Ruben Onsu only requests a divorce without demanding child custody or joint property. The divorce lawsuit filed by Ruben Onsu against Sarwendah Tan is recorded under case number 551/Pdt.G/2024/PN JKT.SEL.
