Tya Ariestya Ready to Launch Boarding House Business, Launching on August 17 Coinciding with Wedding Anniversary

Tya Ariestya is currently preparing to expand her boarding house business. Interestingly, the inauguration of this business is planned to coincide with the anniversary of Indonesia's independence as well as her wedding anniversary.

This boarding house business offers quite complete and modern facilities to ensure the comfort of its residents. Tya ensures that each room is ready for occupancy with various adequate supporting facilities.

Tya revealed that the idea to build this boarding house initially came from her husband for realistic financial purposes. The location of the house in a strategic area makes the building tax costs quite high, thus making this business a solution.

"Alhamdulillah, hopefully on this August 17th, on our anniversary, we can launch it, hopefully. Yes, bismillahirrahmanirrahim, it has actually been planned for a long time, but hopefully, it can be a gift for our wedding gift together," said Tya Ariestya when met in the Warung Buncit area, South Jakarta, Tuesday (11/08/2026).

"The room has an en-suite bathroom with hot water, there's a TV, WiFi, AC, and it's fully furnished. Has anyone started bargaining? Yes, there are some who have tagged Kakak Monika, right next to Kakak Monika Angelia's house, which has 16 adopted children. They have already booked it, and there are several who really want it," Tya Ariestya said.

"The initial area is indeed a nice area, but the taxes for houses in areas like Kuningan can be quite expensive," she said.

"Well, initially we were thinking about how to make the tax payments lighter, so we ended up creating a boarding house to generate income to help pay the taxes, that's actually how we thought about it," added Tya Ariestya.

Although it does not instantly provide abundant wealth, Tya views this business as a promising long-term investment. For her, having a regular income every month gives a sense of security for her family's future.

"Because a boarding house is not a business that makes us go like, 'wow, we have so much money,' it's just enough. But maybe in terms of investment, this will be longer because the investment can continue and we also have a monthly income, thank God there's income," concluded Tya Ariestya.
