Umi Pipik Says the Person Who Forced Nathalie Holscher to Stop Being a DJ is Cruel

Of course, many regret the return of the former wife of comedian Sule to the nightlife as a DJ. Moreover, Nathalie previously wore a hijab after deciding to convert to Islam.

There are also many netizens who urged Nathalie to quit her job as a DJ. However, Umi Pipik, who is a friend and also a mentor to Nathalie while deepening her Islamic faith, has a different opinion.

1. Nathalie Surely Has Her Own Reasons

According to Umi Pipik, it is possible that Nathalie has her own reasons for deciding to return to her old job. Moreover, Nathalie now has responsibilities towards her child.

"Because she is a single parent, you know, she is a mother. How can we judge someone by saying that job is not good based on her clothes, based on her work environment," said Umi Pipik when met in the area of Jalan Jendral Gatot Subroto, South Jakarta, Sunday (25/8/2024).

"While Allah is the one who provides sustenance, and continues to strive to bring her to be much better. We don’t know Nathalie's prayers, her late-night prayers, her ease," Umi Pipik continued.

2. Those Who Force Others to Stop Working Are Tyrants

Therefore, if people really want Nathalie to stop her job, they should also provide solutions. At the very least, there should be a better job for her to do to earn a living for her child.

"Now Islam is a religion of solutions. Sometimes we tell someone to stop, but we don’t provide a solution. For example, we say don’t work there, it’s not a good job. But we don’t provide what job to do, we don’t offer a job, that’s tyrannical, because she has to support herself, right," said Umi Pipik.

The wife of the late Ustaz Jefri Al Buchori admitted that she still communicates with Nathalie. However, she does not want to interfere too much in whatever choice Nathalie has made.

"She (Nathalie) is more like, if there’s anything she always asks me. I say, just go ahead. Until it really reaches the point where it’s like, oh okay, this is enough," she concluded.
