Singer Raisa performed a duet with the king of dangdut, Rhoma Irama during the peak night of the 34th SCTV Anniversary Extraordinary, held at the Emtek Daan Mogot studio, West Jakarta, (24/8) Saturday night.

During her performance, the singer affectionately known as Yaya also admitted that it was not easy to perform dangdut songs created by Rhoma. Especially since Rhoma Irama's works can be said to be legendary.

"Honestly, I'm really nervous and scared because this is my first time performing with Rhoma Irama," Raisa stated after.

"My fear is more about whether I can perform Mr. Haji's song correctly. I'm afraid I won't get the nuances right. Because performing dangdut songs is not easy," she continued.

In addition, in her preparations, the wife of Hamish Daud is trying to craft her stage performance. Especially since she really wants to present a stage act that is not entirely dangdut by combining it with her own pop music style.

"Well, I wonder how to perform it in a pop style, but still maintain those distinctive nuances. I will try my best to bring out the subtle nuances," she said.

"It might be difficult, but hopefully the essence of the song can still be captured. I hope friends at home like it, the practice isn't much, just a few times only," he added.

Meanwhile, Rhoma Irama himself is also happy to be able to duet with Raisa. He acknowledged that this duet performance was also his first time happening at this event.

"Masya Allah, it is an honor for me to sing with a diva. I am happy, delighted," said Rhoma Irama.
