Unconscious, Sapri Pantun Has to Use a Ventilator

Kapanlagi.com - Comedian Sapri Pantun is still undergoing treatment at Sari Asih Ciledug Hospital's ICU room in Tangerang. Sapri is suffering from diabetes due to high blood sugar levels. According to Sapri's sister, Dolly, he recently underwent surgery.

"Alhamdulillah, yesterday there was an immediate action, the blood vessels had to be removed, there was blood clotting. Those were large blood vessels," said Dolly at Asih Ciledug Hospital, Tangerang, on Monday (10/5/2021).

"Thank God, there were results yesterday, but now he has to be referred for blockages in the smaller blood vessels. Because they don't have the necessary equipment here, he has to be referred to a bigger facility," added Dolly.

1. Unstable Breathing

Ventilator Installed

Dolly said, after the surgery, Sapri's condition worsened. Even the breathing of the talented comedian in pantun is unstable.

"After yesterday's surgery, he had to sign because his breath started to become unstable and the doctor asked for approval to install a ventilator," said Dolly.

"I went out for a while and my sister called asking for my opinion on whether it should be installed or not, because my signature is required. I told her to follow the doctor's advice, and finally it was installed," added Dolly.

2. Temporary Improvement

Previously, after several days of treatment in the ICU, Sapri's condition had temporarily improved. He had also regained consciousness. However, for now, Sapri's condition has worsened again and he is unconscious.

"Yesterday, I stayed with him from night until this morning, so before, when we called him, he would just wake up and nod. Now it seems like he is not conscious, he is in a worse condition than before, but the doctor is still doing their best," concluded Dolly.
