Undergoing Rehabilitation at RSKO Cibubur, Jeff Smith Conveys Apology

Kapanlagi.com - Actor and model Jeff Smith officially undergoes rehabilitation at the Drug Dependence Hospital (RSKO) Cibubur today, Tuesday (14/12). According to KapanLagi.com's observation at the Jakarta Metro Police, Jeff Smith was taken to RSKO Cibubur around 15.00 WIB using a white Suzuki Ignis car.

"Alhamdulillah, regarding Jeff, we have submitted an integrated assessment request because the evidence can accommodate that he can be rehabilitated," said Jeff Smith's legal representative, Aldi Surya Kusumah, when met at the Jakarta Metro Police, Tuesday (14/12).

"Alhamdulillah, it has also been approved, Jeff has also departed to RSKO Cibubur. Just ask for prayers," he continued.

1. Apologize

Through his lawyer, Jeff Smith also apologized to his family and fans who were disappointed because for the second time he was caught using drugs. The soap opera star PUTRI UNTUK PANGERAN also regrets his actions.

"Jeff also told me that he apologizes to all fans, friends, and relatives. He said it through me. He must also regret it, shocked, surprised to be like this. He also told his other friends not to try drugs again," he explained.

2. Legal Process Continues

Despite undergoing rehabilitation, Jeff Smith's legal process continues. "The trial still goes on, of course. But in a way, I feel a bit relieved because the assessment request was granted for rehabilitation," concluded Aldi Surya Kusumah.

As known, Jeff Smith was first detained for drug-related charges in April 2021. Less than 3 months after being released, Jeff Smith was arrested again. He was arrested at his residence in Depok, West Java on December 8. In the arrest, the police seized evidence of the drug Lysergic Acid Diethylamide (LSD).

3. Jeff Smith's Current Condition

Aldi Surya Kusumah also explained Jeff Smith's current condition. He said Jeff Smith's parents are still in shock because their son was caught twice for drugs.

"(Jeff Smith's condition) is fine. Just like how a detained person should be. Yesterday, we started communicating (with each other). (The parents) must be disappointed, shocked," he concluded.

4. Hallucinating During Arrest

As mentioned earlier, during Jeff's arrest, the police confiscated evidence of Lysergic Acid Diethylamide (LSD) drugs. Even when he was arrested, Jeff was said to be in a hallucinating state.

"When he was arrested, he had just used it. There were still 2 pieces left. When he was tested, his urine test was clear and under the influence of it, hallucinating," said Zulpan at the Metro Jaya Regional Police, Thursday (9/12).

5. Reasons for Using

In his statement to the police, Jeff revealed his reasons for using LSD. He claimed that the drug was used to help him avoid fatigue and stay focused on his work.

"The reason is because as a soap opera artist, so as not to get tired, to stay focused on his work," said Zulpan.
