Chikita's bully perpetrator was her senior in elementary school. Although both of them have become artists, she feels that she can no longer get along with the person who made her feel down when she was young.
"Actually, I have a senior. Maybe now I can't get along with that person anymore. If you know the person, just keep quiet," said Chikita Meidy on Ferdy ELEMENT's YouTube account uploaded on Thursday (23/11/2023).
"So I have a senior, who was quite mean to me. This is the first time I'm talking about it. It happened when I was in 4th grade. He is a very big person. Until now, he can't even greet me, he is a big star. You will surely be surprised," she continued.

Chikita Meidy said that when she was bullied, the senior in 6th grade who bullied her was not yet a celebrity.
"So I was bullied, there was someone selling tempura in front of Al Azhar Kelapa Gading. He was 2 years older than me, he and his gang were in front, I just came out, 'Hey Chikita, buy this for me, here's the money'. So I was constantly bullied by the senior. It was that bad," she said.

As someone who started a career at a young age, Chikita Meidy was always told by her parents to maintain her attitude. Therefore, Chikita never fought back against her bullies.
"Mom and dad always said that as a star, you must not behave rudely, you must not retaliate. It was a heavy burden for me," said Chikita Meidy.

"This senior had a crush on a guy, and this guy liked me. His gang, led by this artist, joined in the bullying," she said.
"Some of my shoes were thrown onto the roof. My prayer tools were thrown onto the roof. I felt really mentally down from that. My classmates followed suit. I experienced severe bullying," she added.

Unable to tolerate the bullying, Chikita Meidy chose to report the incident of bullying carried out by her senior to her. However, her report was not processed properly because the perpetrator was not just any student.
"Finally, I complained to the BK teacher, there was an incident where this senior 6th grader liked to bother Chikita. Coincidentally, he was a big shot, at that time he was not yet a celebrity. So, I was really disappointed," she said.
