"Those are different victims, they are all from East Java, and last week there was a verdict. And the believers were declared defeated due to lack of formal evidence. Their lawyer is not us, they are our colleagues. It seems they will appeal and therefore, now me and these colleagues of mine will process it from the criminal aspect," said Yusuf as the legal team of the complainant Yusuf Mansur, in the Ampera area of South Jakarta, Monday (11/16/2020).

There are 10 investors intending to report the 43-year-old cleric. They suspect allegations of fraud, embezzlement, and violation of ITE (Information and Electronic Transactions) Law. The victims who will report Ustaz Yusuf Mansur claim to have suffered losses of hundreds of millions.
"There is a possibility of fraud and embezzlement and ITE violation. Because they also rely on the website. If in our case, the total value is also in the hundreds, those who submit it to us. Because we select those that fulfill the elements of criminal offense," said Djudju Purwanto.
The victims who will report are close acquaintances of Ustaz Yusuf Mansur. Since 2016, they have been participating in various investment programs owned by Ustaz Yusuf Mansur. This time, the Tabung Tanah program is suspected to have several elements of criminal offense, prompting the victims to report it.
This is not the first time Ustaz Yusuf Mansur has faced legal issues regarding some of his investment projects. Previously, Ustaz Yusuf Mansur had just won a civil lawsuit against five investors, with the chairman of the Tangerang District Court considering the evidence provided to be insufficient.
