Uya Kuya's Family Still Renting Due to House Being Looted, Now Facing New Defamation Again

A concerning condition was revealed by Uya Kuya regarding his private house that was targeted for looting last August. Until now, the house remains empty and cannot be occupied again by his family.

Uya explained that the damage suffered is very severe because almost all the contents of the house and parts of the building were stripped away by irresponsible individuals.

"Until now, the renovation is still not finished. My house yesterday was completely stripped of all items, iron, window frames, water pipes, toilet, sink, everything was taken. So it’s empty and hollow, completely bare. It will take quite some time, maybe only 70% done," said Uya Kuya when met at the DPR RI building on Tuesday (21/4/2026).

As a result of the house that has not been fully repaired, Uya's family members are forced to still rent a place to live. Even their pets have to be placed in a special location.

"My in-laws are also still renting, and the cats are also being kept in a special place. I’m not counting (the losses). But it’s a lot. Just imagine the entire contents of the house are gone and destroyed," he revealed.

Although many friends suggested that the house should just be sold due to trauma, Uya still chose to keep it. For him, the house is a silent witness to his struggle in building a career in the entertainment world.

"Many say, 'Just sell it, Mas, rather than trauma.' But I built that house over a decade ago (2011-2014) with the fruits of my hard work on TV, morning, noon, and night. So selling that house feels heavy," he said.

Now, in the midst of his efforts to rebuild that historic house, Uya has to face a new storm of slander regarding 750 MBG kitchens. He feels very wronged by the people who keep bothering him.

"I still want to preserve that house because it has its own historical value for me. I thought the incident of the house being looted was over, but then there are crazy slanders again," he concluded.
