Vacation in China, Dea Ananda Takes the Escalator to Tianmen Peak

Dea Ananda is enjoying a vacation in China with her mother. The two are exploring several tourist destinations in Zhangjiajie, including Tianmen Mountain, which is often referred to as the Gateway to Heaven due to its natural landscapes and panoramic views that attract tourists.

She documents the trip through her personal Instagram account. Besides enjoying the scenery, Dea encourages her mother to try various experiences, from crossing the glass bridge to accessing the peak area of Tianmen Mountain, known as the Stairs to Heaven.

Dea writes, "Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge? Success. For me and my mom who aren't afraid of heights, it’s a bit nerve-wracking to look straight down. It's super transparent, guys. But we don’t want to miss out, so we keep going. Sooooo much fun!"

One of the moments she shared was when visiting the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge. This glass bridge allows visitors to see directly down beneath their feet, providing a different sensation compared to regular bridges.

Dea and her mother walked along the transparent path. Although she admitted to feeling a bit uneasy when looking down, both continued to step forward and maintained their rhythm to ensure a smooth journey across.

In her post, Dea emphasized that she and her mother are not the type to be afraid of heights. Nevertheless, the moment of looking down from the glass surface still presented a unique sensation. They completed the course of the glass bridge.

2. Towards Tianmen: 999 Steps and Escalator Options

The journey continues to Tianmen Mountain. The peak area is known for having 999 steep stairs, popularly referred to as the Stairs to Heaven. To help tourists reach the upper area, access is available via an escalator within the tourist complex.

Dea and her mother chose to use the escalator to reach the top. On the other hand, her mother expressed a desire to try climbing the 999 stairs. However, that plan was abandoned as they were still looking for a companion to join them.

Dea wrote, "Climbing a mountain with an escalator, breaking through the clouds? Success. FYI, mom briefly had the idea of wanting to climb the stairs, 999 stairs, but was looking for a friend. Of course, I dragged her to the escalator,"

From Tianmen Mountain, their journey continued to Hunan. Dea shared some moments while exploring the city through her Instagram account, completing her holiday series with her mother.
