Vadel Badjideh Does Not Accept 9-Year Sentence, Immediately Files Appeal

Vadel Badjideh has to swallow a bitter pill after the Panel of Judges sentenced him to 9 years in prison in a case of alleged sexual intercourse with a minor. However, Vadel's side did not remain silent. Through his legal counsel, they firmly stated that they would pursue an appeal to seek justice.

This decision to appeal was made because Vadel's side felt that the judge's ruling did not reflect the facts revealed in the trial. Oya Abdul Malik, as the legal counsel, hopes that at a higher court level, his client can receive a lighter and fairer sentence, which is not influenced by massive public opinion pressure.

"Why does Vadel have to be destroyed? With 9 years. And in this plea, I state that everyone in the courtroom will be held accountable in the afterlife. And Vadel, in his plea, stated he would demand one by one in the afterlife," he concluded.
