Kapanlagi.com - Vadel Badjideh is scheduled to undergo an examination regarding the report from Nikita Mirzani related to the Child Protection Law, Health Law, and the Penal Code. Vadel himself will come to the South Jakarta Metro Police at 14:00 WIB.
"So yesterday after receiving the postponement from VA, we waited to request a statement from VA," said Acting Head of Public Relations of the South Jakarta Police, AKP Nurma Dewi, on Friday (4/10/2024).
"So today the investigator's legal counsel has stated they will be present today. What is clear is that we are requesting a statement or for VA to provide a statement regarding the case reported by NM. So, for VA, it is reported that he is suspected of committing indecency," Nurma added.
When asked if there is a possibility that Vadel would immediately become a suspect after undergoing the examination, Nurma said this.
"Let's just wait for the results of the examination later and also the testimony or statement from VA, which we hope or need for the case reported by NM against her daughter LM," she explained.
If it turns out that Vadel will indeed become a suspect, Nurma also could not say much about whether Vadel would be immediately detained or not. What is certain is that all authority rests with the investigators.
"What is clear is that the investigators have that authority. Let's just wait; the important thing is that today we are waiting for a statement from VA to provide the information needed by the investigators regarding the case reported by NM," she revealed.
Regarding the evidence that has been collected by the investigators, Nurma stated that her side has indeed started to complete it. They are just waiting for the second medical examination that was recently conducted on Laura Meizani alias Lolly.
"Yes, we have been looking for evidence, it is already there, we have asked witnesses for their statements, and now we are waiting for the overall medical examination. That is clear," she concluded.
