Amid the divorce news, Athalla Naufal, the son of Venna Melinda, also spoke out. Quoting Liputan6.com, Athalla revealed the criteria for an ideal stepfather if his mother wants to have another partner. Athalla Naufal wants his mother to have a partner who can keep promises.
"The criteria are clearly someone who can commit to promises, you know," said Athalla Naufal to reporters in the Tendean area, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (10/9/2024).

Athalla also mentioned that the desired stepfather's trait is someone who can be sincere and loving towards Venna Melinda and Vania, his younger sister.
"Also, someone who can be sincere, loving, towards mom and Vania as well. That's basically it," he continued.

As a child, Athalla Naufal certainly wants to see his mother happy. Meanwhile, he has seen that Venna Melinda is already happy without a partner.
"For me, the important thing is that mom is happy. But now I see that mom is already happy without a partner," said Athalla.

Athalla also explained the key to Venna Melinda's happiness. According to him, Venna Melinda can be happy when she has time with her children. He also wants to make that happen for his mom.
"Actually, the key to mom's happiness is with the kids. So I want to spend more time with her," Athalla added.
