Vidi Aldiano's Father Reveals His Relationship with Sheila Dara Now, Still Likes to Cook for Her

The departure of Vidi Aldiano certainly leaves a deep sorrow, not only for the family but also for his wife, Sheila Dara Aisha. In the midst of these difficult times, the father-in-law, Harry Kiss, shows a very wise and supportive attitude towards his daughter-in-law.

When met at TPU Tanah Kusir, South Jakarta, on Monday (6/4/2026), Harry Kiss firmly refused to comment on Sheila's personal condition after Vidi's departure. He feels he has no right to interfere and is worried that his words might hurt his daughter-in-law's feelings.

"I don't know, I didn't watch. Maybe I can show you, Uncle? Yes, but you should ask Sheila, because if I say something wrong later," he said when asked about Sheila's posts on social media. "I don't understand. Because I'm afraid of hurting or troubling her heart," he added.

Although keeping a distance in personal matters, Harry Kiss ensures that communication and the bond between him and Sheila remain very good. "Still, still. We just never ask about sensitive things," he emphasized.

He shows his concern in a simple yet very touching way. He admits that he still often offers to cook Sheila's favorite food, a habit that may have been established since Vidi was still around.

"Well, this is my new cook who just arrived from the village today. So, later today I will ask Sheila what she wants to be cooked," he said.

He even still remembers the favorite dishes of his daughter-in-law very well. "Usually the request is soup... Ah, usually woodspot, oxtail soup, Madinah chicken, typical of home... typical of my home," he said.

Harry Kiss's attitude serves as a beautiful example of how the relationship between in-laws and their children-in-law should remain warm and supportive, even after the passing of the person who connected them.
