The romantic relationship between Azriel Hermansyah and his girlfriend, Sarah Menzel, seems to be heading towards a more serious stage. His mother, Kris Dayanti, finally spoke up about the preparations for her son's wedding that are currently underway.

The diva, affectionately known as KD, revealed that the wedding preparations for Azriel and Sarah are going smoothly. However, she did not deny the significant challenges that must be faced, especially due to the cultural exchange and differences in background between the two families.

As is known, Sarah Menzel comes from a family with a different belief background. This has become one of the serious discussion topics between both families.

"Because this is an exchange culture, a cultural exchange, there are definitely many serious things that we need to discuss and deliberate," said Kris Dayanti when met in the Depok area, West Java, on Saturday (4/4/2026).

Nevertheless, Raul Lemos' wife ensured that all parties are very open to discussion. The goal is to ensure that there are no feelings of worry or discomfort during the preparation process leading up to the happy day.

"We are grateful because Sarah comes from a different background in terms of beliefs and faith. And thank God we discuss, basically everyone has to be open," she continued.

In the midst of these preparations, Kris Dayanti has also prepared special advice for Azriel. She advised that her son should become a responsible imam and head of the household in the future.

"Yes, later, God willing, if he is named the imam, Azriel must have a great responsibility because he will lead the household in one belief," he emphasized.

Although the conversation has become more serious, Kris Dayanti assures that the wedding will not take place this year. She also hinted that the wedding concept will be more heavily infused with traditional elements.

When asked about Sarah Menzel, KD did not hesitate to call her the ideal daughter-in-law and hopes that their relationship will be maintained until the big day.
