Vino G Bastian Explains the Condition of His Mother Before Passing Away

After the burial process was completed, Vino met with the media. Before discussing the details of his mother's illness, the RADIT DAN JANI film star expressed his gratitude to the media for attending the occasion.

"Assalamualaikum. On behalf of the Bastian Tito family and my mother, I would like to express my sincere thanks for the prayers and support from all the media friends. I apologize if we did not prepare this funeral well because it was so sudden. Alhamdulilah, my mother passed away peacefully and hopefully with a good ending," said Vino when met at TPU Malaka 2, Tanah Merah, East Jakarta, on Tuesday (7/1).

1. Sick for a Long Time

Vino's mother passed away at the age of 70. She was said to have died in a healthy condition, although she had a long history of illness.

"She had been sick for a long time. It started with diabetes, then spread to the kidneys, and finally to the lungs. Her lungs were infected, but Alhamdulillah, when she was about to meet Allah, everything was fine and healthy. The latest test results were all good, as if there was no illness, but she was unconscious," recalled the 37-year-old man.

2. The Figure of Mother in Vino and Marsha's Eyes

Although she had a lot of illnesses, the late mother was said to never complain. She always tried to appear healthy so as not to worry her children. Marsha, the daughter-in-law, also spoke about Vino's mother.

"She was an extraordinary mother, a very strong woman, a partner who never complained, never wanted to burden her children. For her, the most important thing was the happiness of her children. So even when she was sick, she tried not to bother her children as much as possible," continued Marsha.

"Throughout her life, she never complained or mentioned her illness. Even when we took her to the doctor or for a check-up, she told her children to wait outside, so that she could talk to the doctor herself. It was truly extraordinary. If there were any test results that were not good, she would hide them and sometimes even tear them up so that her children wouldn't find out. That's what makes us remember her, sometimes it was funny. That's why we feel the loss, but I am sincerely accepting it, Insya Allah," concluded Vino.
