Viral Kain Jarik on Twitter, Ernest Speaks Out About Photo with Alleged Harassment Perpetrator

Kapanlagi.com - Twitter is once again buzzing with a strange incident of sexual harassment. A Twitter account named @m_fikris shared a story about harassment disguised as research by a student. And this incident also involves a celebrity, namely Ernest Prakasa.

The post, uploaded on Wednesday (29/7/2020), explains the chronology of when a man sent a direct message on Instagram for academic research purposes.

The unknown man claimed to be a student at a prestigious university in Surabaya. With that explanation, they eventually exchanged phone numbers.

1. Wrapped in Sarong

The perpetrator, who is believed to be named Gilang, finally contacted the owner of the Twitter account @m_fikris to start his research. And he explained his research, and the perpetrator admitted that his research was related to wrapping.

2. Many Victims Already

Previously, the owner of the Twitter account did not want to reveal this 'shame'. However, because there have been several victims and to prevent more, he dared to speak up about this harassment. 

"Honestly, at first I didn't think I could be subjected to such sexual harassment. I was really clueless about which research and fetish-related things, and I was quite shocked. But due to certain considerations (fear of more victims), I decided to speak up," he said. 

3. Ernest Prakasa's Name

Along with the viral name Gilang on Twitter, Ernest Prakasa's name also became a topic of discussion there. Apparently, this comedian and director had taken a photo with the perpetrator. 

In the photo that he uploaded on his Instagram some time ago, Ernest stated that Gilang was someone who frequently watched his films. In fact, he could watch one film up to four times.

4. Ernest Speaks Out

Knowing this, Ernest finally speaks out. Angered by the perpetrator's strange behavior, Ernest retweets the post. He feels very sad and disappointed. 

"It's really heartbreaking to read this thread about someone committing such outrageous acts. After this, I will retweet the thread," writes Ernest. 

Not only that, Ernest also feels very angry about the perpetrator's actions. Moreover, in the post he wrote, there is also a photo of him together with the perpetrator.
