Virgoun Rejects Royalty Lawsuit, Inara Rusli Prepares Expert Witness

Kapanlagi.com - The divorce trial between Inara Rusli and Virgoun is still ongoing at the West Jakarta Religious Court. It is known that Virgoun rejected one of Inara's claims, regarding the royalty rights of three songs that were created after their marriage, one of which is the song Surat Cinta Untuk Starla.

However, Inara has not been able to respond to Virgoun's decision and his legal team's rejection of the claim. She will only respond to Virgoun's rejection in the upcoming hearing, which will be held on July 5, 2023.

1. Still In Process

"We cannot speak yet because we have not submitted a reply," said Arjana Bagaskara, Inara Rusli's legal representative, when met after the trial on Wednesday (21/6).

"Just wait, we will take action later," he added.

In addition, Inara Rusli is apparently preparing expert witnesses regarding her demands. When asked further, unfortunately, Inara's side refused to disclose this matter.

"We might have something later, we will consider it," he said.

2. Divorce Trial Still Ongoing

On 16/08, Inara and Virgoun's divorce trial is still ongoing. In this session, the agenda carried out is evidence presentation and testimonies from witnesses. This session was attended directly by Inara and her legal representative, while Virgoun and his legal representative were not present.

"Today's trial went well, smoothly. I represent Inara to attend the trial, we have submitted written evidence, there are 90 written evidences, 4 videos, and 2 witnesses," said Arjana Bagaskara after the trial.

Arjana said that the 94 pieces of evidence have been accepted by the panel of judges. "All of our evidence has been accepted by the panel, nothing is disputed," said Arjana.
