This news was confirmed by Deddy J Syamsuddin, the legal representative of Wawan, when contacted by the media. It turns out that the former drummer is being sued for divorce due to economic issues, considering that Wawan has also been affected by the pandemic.

"It's just that, in a pandemic situation, everything is financially problematic. We should be aware that this is a test for us, the Indonesian nation, and the whole world is affected by Covid-19," said Deddy J Syamsuddin, Wawan's legal representative, when contacted on Tuesday (2/2).

In her divorce petition, Inge admitted that she has not been supported by Wawan for a long time. Her lawyer finds this a bit strange considering that her client has always provided support for his wife, and there is even evidence of it.

"And the fundamental issue is related to the problem. In the argument presented, it is stated that my client has never provided support, even though we have evidence of providing support. Although Wawan provides support, but he is a musician, and currently there is Covid, you know yourself," he explained.

2. Wawan Refuses to Divorce

In essence, Wawan refuses to divorce his wife. The reason is because their marriage has already reached more than 2 decades, plus they have children who are growing up and certainly need attention from both parents.

"He doesn't want to divorce because they have been building their household for 23 years. They have also been blessed with three children," he concluded.
