Wear One of Her Mother's Outfits, Roro Fitria: As If Being Hugged by Mother

Kapanlagi.com - Roro Fitria is back with a new creation. She released a single titled Rindu Ibu (Missing Mother) which is an expression of her longing for her late mother.

When met at her residence in Jagakarsa, South Jakarta, on Monday afternoon (13/7), Roro admitted that she couldn't hold back her tears during the recording process of the song. Sometimes, her tears fell while singing because she remembered her mother.

"The recording process went smoothly, but I was a bit emotional. Because I couldn't control it, sometimes I cried during the vocal takes. When we sing and cry, we can't control it," said Roro Fitria.

1. Getting Closer

Not only that, another thing that made the 30-year-old woman even sadder was that she deliberately wore one of her late mother's clothes during the recording. She did it so that Roro Fitria could feel closer to her deceased mother who passed away in 2018.

"So, at the studio, I wore one of my mother's outfits so that I could feel like I was being hugged by my mother. So, I couldn't hold back my tears. Because I cried a lot, the recording had to be repeated," she said.

2. Keeping Many Memories

In addition, Roro Fitria also shared many unforgettable memories with her late mother. Her late mother was a place for Roro Fitria to share stories and be pampered every day.

"There are so many memories. In the corner of the room, my late mother's bedroom, there are many beautiful memories with my mother. She was very pampering and patient, she didn't get angry even when I made mistakes," she concluded.
