Akhadi Wira Satriaji, known as Kaka Slank, showed a different style from the other Slank members when attending the press conference for the JOGED album launch at the Jakarta Art Building (GKJ) on Thursday, December 28, 2023. Nevertheless, the 40-year-old vocalist remained relaxed and answered questions from Soleh Solihun, the host of the event. With his casual style, Kaka answered various questions related to Slank's latest album titled JOGED.
Kaka stated that the JOGED album consists of nine songs that express Slank's views on social issues in Indonesia.
"We try to express what we feel through our work. This expression represents the social issues that have been happening in the past two years," said Kaka.
Meanwhile, Slank also held a concert titled 'Slank Joged 40rever' to celebrate Slank's 40th birthday, which falls on December 26, 2023.
"This concert is a form of celebration for our 40 years and also as a platform to introduce our latest album," said Bimbim, Slank's drummer.
