Kapanlagi.com - Controversial actress Nikita Mirzani is now officially detained by the police along with her assistant, Mail Syahputra. This detention is related to the alleged extortion and threats against Dr. Reza Gladys.
"After conducting examinations of the two suspects, namely NM and IM, a case review was held, and the investigators have detained both suspects," said the Head of Public Relations of the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Pol Ade Ary Syam Indradi, to reporters when met at the Metro Jaya Police on Tuesday (3/4/2025).
This detention will last for the next 20 days while waiting for the completion of the case files to be submitted to the prosecutor's office. Ade Ary emphasized that the investigators continue to delve into this case to uncover clearer facts.
"For the next 20 days, both suspects will be detained by the investigator," he added.
Nikita Mirzani herself was known to arrive at the Polda Metro Jaya at 10:00 AM WIB for questioning. Although surrounded by several media crews, the 38-year-old actress chose not to comment. Her calm and confident appearance as she headed to the car was notable.
About 15 minutes after Nikita's arrival, her assistant, Mail Syahputra, also appeared at the same location. Wearing a hoodie and sunglasses, Mail immediately entered the building of the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation without much talk.

This case originated from a report by Dr. Reza Gladys, a local skincare business owner, who claimed to be a victim of extortion and threats by Nikita and Mail. The alleged crime was reported to have occurred on November 13, 2024, in South Jakarta.
The investigators at Polda Metro Jaya had previously named Nikita and Mail as suspects. In this case, Nikita is charged with various serious articles, including Article 27B paragraph (2) and Article 45 paragraph (10) of the ITE Law, which carries a maximum penalty of 6 years in prison.
Not only that, the star of the movie Comic 8 is also charged under Article 368 of the Criminal Code regarding threats, which carries a maximum penalty of 9 years in prison. In addition, she is also charged under Article 3, Article 4, and Article 5 of the Money Laundering Crime Law (TPPU), which carries a penalty of up to 20 years in prison.
So far, neither Nikita nor her legal counsel has provided an official statement regarding the legal steps that will be taken. However, this case is certain to continue until it reaches the trial stage.
