Wedding Ritual of Tania Nadira, Luxurious with Javanese Customs

Tania Nadira looked beautiful in a pink cloth and a dress made of jasmine flowers during the siraman ritual before her wedding with Abdullah Alwi.

Accompanied by her family, Tania steps towards the place where she will hold the siraman procession, which is held at her luxurious parents' residence.

Before the siraman procession begins, Tania poses with the bridesmaids, all of whom wear kebaya uniforms with a pink nuance.

Tania chose to perform the siraman with Javanese customs because there are many philosophies contained in this event. In every procession, there is a meaning behind it.

The Kendi used for the siraman procession is also decorated with jasmine flowers. Tania revealed that she indeed wanted to fully embrace Javanese customs for this event.

Fadel Muhammad, Tania's stepfather, is the first one to pour the flower-infused water. Accompanied by a prayer, Fadel pours the water onto Tania, who receives it with laughter.

After Fadel Muhammad, Hana Fadel pours this flower-infused water onto her daughter. Tania's face is already starting to get wet from the siraman water.

There were a total of 40 people who participated in pouring water on Tania in this ceremony. Not only her parents and family, but also her mother's friends joined in pouring water and giving prayers.

After the pouring ceremony by family and relatives was finished, Fadel Muhammad helped pour water into the pitcher that Tania used for ablution.

This pouring ceremony is the first time Tania has experienced it. When she married Tommy Kurniawan before, she did not have a ceremony like this.
