Meeting & Wedding Reception of Governor Khofifah's Child, Attended by Jokowi

After becoming husband and wife, Patimasang and Fadil Wirawan held a meeting event. After the panggih ceremony, they were escorted to the wedding by Khofifah.

Before the wedding ceremony, Ima and Fadil throw betel leaves at each other. This procession is part of the wedding ceremony in Javanese tradition.

After sitting on the wedding dais, Ima and Fadil share food with each other. This is a form of affection between husband and wife after officially getting married and embarking on married life together.

Fadil also performs Kacar-kucur. This is a ritual to symbolize that a husband will provide for his wife and be well cared for by his wife.

Sungkeman is an obligation for a child to seek blessings from their parents in marriage. Khofifah accepts the sungkem from Fadil, who is now officially her son-in-law.

In addition to giving blessings to Fadil, Khofifah also hugged and kissed Ima, who is now officially a wife and free from the responsibility of her parents.

Jusuf Kalla and Sinta Nuriyah also attended Ima and Fadil's wedding ceremony and reception. Vice President JK delivered a speech in front of all the guests present.

After the ceremony, Ima and Fadil's wedding continued with a reception. Approximately 5 thousand guests were invited to this two-session event.

Yuni Shara entertained the guests at Ima and Fadil's wedding reception. Proudly, Yuni uploaded a photo of herself on the wedding stage with the bride and groom and their families.

President Joko Widodo, who has just returned from Japan, took the time to attend the wedding of Ima and Fadil, which took place at Grand City, Surabaya.
