Kapanlagi.com - Many things have been done by the singer who is also a film actor, Ihsan Tarore, during the COVID-19 pandemic, one of which is selling donuts online. He has been doing this since the early days of the pandemic in Indonesia.

"During the lockdown period, I finally decided to make potato donuts, called Domisol Donat, Donat Milik Ihsan Idola, abbreviated as such. Basically, I kept myself busy with various activities that could be done at home. So, I didn't need to go outside but could sell online," said Ihsan Tarore at Studio 41, South Jakarta, some time ago.

1. The Right Culinary Business

According to the Indonesian Idol singer, culinary is one of the most suitable businesses during the pandemic. The reason for choosing donuts as the food he produces is because this snack can be enjoyed anytime.

"Yes, because culinary is the easiest thing to do when the situation is like this. Hobbies are definitely developing during the pandemic, like cooking and gardening, things that can be done at home," he said.

"Because donuts can be enjoyed in any condition and are delicious to eat. For example, you can have them for breakfast with milk in the morning, or have them as a dessert after lunch, or relax and have donuts in the evening. That's why donuts are the most suitable," Ihsan added.

2. Make Your Own Donuts

Interestingly, these potato donuts are made directly by Ihsan Tarore himself. "I made everything myself. I did the orders myself, but not too many. It depends on my ability on that day," Ihsan said.

Running a culinary business is not the first time for Ihsan Tarore. Previously, he had a culinary business as well, selling side dishes. However, due to his busy schedule, his mother ran the business on her own.

"Previously, I used to cook various dishes, but my mother focused on that. But with donuts, I am the one focusing on it," he said.

3. Limiting Orders

Ihsan Tarore said that until now, the potato donut business is still running. Although shooting schedules have started to come in, Ihsan still continues to run the business.

"Alhamdulillah, from the pandemic until now, it's still running. But sometimes when I'm busy with my schedule, shooting, I don't take orders. Sometimes, taking orders is also limited, like only 20 boxes, and it's already exhausting because I do it alone," Ihsan concluded.

For KLovers who still have to go out because of work during this pandemic, #RememberMother'sMessage, don't forget to always wear a mask, wash your hands regularly, and maintain distance. Stay safe.
