Winning Indonesian Idol X, Maia Estianty Suggests Lyodra and Tiara Form a Duo

Kapanlagi.com - Indonesian Idol X has now ended and Lyodra Ginting has been determined as the champion while Tiara Anugrah has to be satisfied as the runner-up. Despite having equally strong supporters, Maia Estianty as a judge actually suggested that the two of them form a duo group.

“If I have the idea, they should form a duo, there will be no competition if they become a duo. If they perform as soloists, there will be many competitors. I want to unite them as a duo,” said Maia Estianty during a press conference after the Result & Reunion of Indonesian Idol X at RCTI+ Studio, Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta, Tuesday (3/3) early morning.

1. Lyodra and Tiara Want to Go Solo First

In response to Maia Estianty's statement, Lyodra and Tiara said that for now, they want to focus more on going solo first.

"Let's make a solo single first, hopefully it will support and succeed in our careers. If we succeed (as a duo), then let's do it," said Lyodra when met in the same place.

"There's nothing negative about it, there's nothing wrong with doing a duo. But we prefer to focus on going solo first," said Tiara.

2. Focus on Education

In addition, both of them also have to return to their respective regions first to take the school exams that they missed due to participating in the Indonesian Idol X quarantine. "After this, I will go back (to Jember) to take the exams and then come back here (Jakarta)," said Tiara.

"I will go back to Medan first because there are still many unfinished exams. I will complete my tasks first before returning (to Jakarta). Education should not be neglected either," concluded Lyodra.
