Withdraw Report, Kimberly Ryder and Edward Akbar Reconcile After Mediation at the Police Station

"Earlier, the agenda also included an examination regarding the car, and it turns out the car has already been taken and will later be shown by Mas Edward. We also discussed the reconciliation between both parties. Alhamdulillah, an agreement was reached regarding the car and other matters," said Machi Ahmad at the South Jakarta Police, Friday (11/7/2025).

From Edward Akbar's side, he emphasized that no embezzlement has occurred. This statement also clarifies the accusations that had circulated and attracted public attention. Edward firmly stated that the car is still under his supervision and will be shown soon.

"There is no embezzlement here, the car is still there, we will show it later, it is currently being retrieved. There has also been discussion regarding the child, regarding the car, and an agreement has been reached. The police report has been withdrawn by my client, Kimberly Ryder," explained Edward.

Regarding the substance of the agreement reached, both parties provided explanations. The car that is the object of the dispute will be sold as part of resolving this issue. The sale of this car has become one of the important points agreed upon to settle the existing case. "As for the agreement itself, the car will be sold, the car will be sold," explained Kimberly's attorney.

Kimberly Ryder herself added that this peace agreement not only covers car issues but also relates to other property assets. She revealed that there is an agreement regarding the division of the house. 

"In addition to that, there is also the matter of the house; the house will also be handed over and divided in two," Kimberly added.

Edward Akbar also emphasized that the entire matter has ended peacefully. For him, keeping the car safe all this time was part of his efforts to achieve peace. Edward hopes that all parties can understand this situation and pray for the best for the continuation of their household.

"The main point is that everything ended peacefully, there was no embezzlement. All this time I kept my car safe so that peace could happen, the rest is step by step. So everyone, media friends and the public, just pray that everything can remain good and alhamdulillah for today I am very grateful that the allegations of embezzlement are indeed nonexistent. For me, thank you to all parties involved, sorry for any inconvenience and may you always be healthy and have smooth rezeki," Edward concluded.
