Yaya, Ririn Ekawati's Child, Sells Takjil in Front of the House

Kapanlagi.com - Abigail Cattleya, or fondly called Yaya, the daughter of beautiful artist Ririn Ekawati, is showing her creative side this Ramadan. The little girl decided to open a small snack stall right in front of her house.

Her stepfather, Ibnu Jamil, revealed that the idea of selling came purely from Yaya's desire to channel her hobby. Ibnu Jamil explained that at home, Yaya really enjoys experimenting in the kitchen.

She often practices various recipes she sees on social media, from making pudding to refreshing drinks for breaking the fast.

"Yes, the idea initially came from Yaya. It was Yaya who wanted to channel her hobby. She really likes to cook at home, like baking cakes, making pudding, making fruit ice, anything she just saw on social media, she loves to practice it," said Ibnu Jamil when met in the Bendungan Hilir area, Pejompongan, Central Jakarta, Sunday (1/3/2026).

Instead of letting her cooking go to waste, Yaya decided to sell it to people passing by in front of the house.

"Well, rather than the results being wasted and only a few people eating, he finally wanted to open a small shop during Ramadan. Coincidentally, we also liked to make things like this when we were kids, me and Ririn. So, we just decided to use the facilities available at home," explained Ibnu Jamil.

The menu offered at Yaya's iftar shop is quite diverse and some are her own creations.

Ibnu Jamil mentioned several signature dishes prepared by his daughter and her friends. "Fruit salad, fruit salad, we made it ourselves yesterday," said Ibnu Jamil.

Even though the profits earned are not large, Yaya feels very happy to experience earning money on her own.
