Zaskia Sungkar shares about the IVF process for her second child. The wife of Irwansyah explains that they are currently preparing for the initial stage of the IVF program.
"Hopefully, soon we will do the ovarian pick-up first. Hopefully, the results will be good. But we don't know yet about the embryo transfer," Zaskia said regarding the process she is undergoing, in the Radio Dalam area of South Jakarta, on Tuesday (6/8/2024).
According to Zaskia, the embryo transfer process, which is the next stage in the IVF program, cannot be confirmed yet. "Just pray for it. What week is this? I forget. But God willing, this week we should have it, God willing," she added.
Zaskia added that they are already approaching the final stage, where after egg retrieval, the embryo transfer process will be carried out. "It's just counting the days now. After that, there will be a process called embryo transfer. Well, that will still be later," she explained.
However, Zaskia mentioned that until now they do not know exactly when the embryo transfer can be done. "Oh, as for the embryo transfer, I don't know yet. Because we will first look at the quality of the embryos, the readiness of the uterus as well, right? The process is still long," she revealed.
During this process, Zaskia and the medical team often consult to ensure her body's readiness. "We will review it again, evaluate again. How often do you consult with the medical team? Yes, often. This is still going back and forth, right?" said Zaskia.
She also explained that monitoring includes various aspects, including uterine readiness and egg development. "Because it’s seen, yes, the readiness of the uterus, then the eggs, how is their development. Aamiin. I really want it," she said with full hope.
The IVF process is an important step for Zaskia and her husband to add to their family. Although there are many stages to go through, they remain optimistic and continue to pray that everything goes smoothly.
Zaskia hopes that this IVF program can proceed as planned and yield positive results. She also asks for prayers from the public for the smoothness of the process.
