Recently, Happy Asmara's stage performance caught the public's attention. Not during the concert, but during the rehearsal before the show, she did something unusual. Happy was seen using a very expensive Hermes blanket to protect herself from the sun's heat.
This moment became a highlight after being uploaded by the TikTok account @saidhusen995. In the video, Happy Asmara can be seen practicing her hit song titled Rungkad.
It turns out, the moment was recorded while Gilga Sahid's wife was rehearsing to perform at the "Gebyar HUT Kabupaten Pekalongan Bareng Festival ANTV Rame di Pekalongan" on Saturday, August 31, 2024.
"Check the sound of the event tonight at Alun Alun Kajen Pekalongan in the context of the ANTV FESTIVAL and the 402nd ANNIVERSARY of PEKALONGAN REGENCY," wrote the caption of the account's post.
After investigation, the blanket used by Happy on stage is estimated to be the Hermes Avalon Throw Blanket variant. This blanket is made of soft wool and cashmere materials.Â
The price of the blanket is not like most blankets. According to the official Hermes website, premium blankets like the one used by Happy Asmara cost 1,875 US dollars or around 29 million IDR.
The 25-year-old dangdut singer not only covered her body with the Hermes blanket to shield herself from the scorching sun. There was a man assigned to shade Happy so she wouldn't feel hot on stage.Â
The video clip of Happy went viral on TikTok and as of this news release, it has been viewed more than 2 million times and received over 2000 comments.
