Kapanlagi.com - The couple Lesti Kejora and Rizky Billar officially announced the change of their son's name, Muhammad Leslar Alfatih Billar, to Muhammad Levian Alfatih Billar.
This change was announced on their child's second birthday, who is affectionately called Baby L.
"Actually, changing the name has been a long time coming, Instagram has also been there for a long time. Actually, it was Daddy who insisted on having an Instagram account to document and commemorate the older brother's growth process. I originally didn't want to," said Lesti Kejora when met in the Pondok Indah area, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (26/12/2023).
"Because it's a shame for an artist to have social media but not have social media," Rizky Billar continued, then laughed.
According to Lesti, the main consideration in changing the name from Leslar to Levian is to avoid feelings of jealousy in the future, especially from their younger siblings if there are any in the future, because Leslar is the name of their community.
"Actually, we've been discussing this name since the beginning, since before the older brother was born. Because the older brother thought, 'What if there are younger siblings, can't they use Leslar?' It's more towards that. Afraid of jealousy," said Lesti.
"Leslar is the name of our community, and we thought if we still use Leslar for the first child and then there are more children in the future, they might feel, 'Why wasn't I given the name Leslar, only the older brother?' Like that. So we're avoiding those things," Rizky Billar continued.
Rizky Billar then explained that the choice of the name Levian has a positive meaning, like someone who is responsible, strong, wise, and able to embrace many people.
“I found out that Levian has many good meanings. One of them is someone who is great, responsible, strong, wise, and able to embrace many people, after I found out the meaning of the name Levian. Hopefully, it can become a prayer,” concluded Rizky Billar.
Hopefully, after the little one changes his name, Levian will become smarter and continue to bring goodness to his parents and family. :)
