8 Potret Meldha, West Java Representative in LIDA 2021 - Join the Auditions at the Hospital and Nassar Says It's Similar to Selfi LIDA

Meldha is the fourth child out of six siblings. Her mother is a housewife, and her father has passed away. She and her three siblings have to work to support their family.  

Meldha admitted that she wanted to fulfill her late father's dream. Before his death in 2018, he advised her to participate in a talent search event and bring honor to the family name.

According to pikiran-rakyat.com, it turns out that Meldha had to audition for LIDA 2021 online from the hospital. At that time, she had to isolate herself because she was exposed to the Covid-19 virus.

In preparation for the Top 70 round, she admitted that she had memorized many dangdut songs. Meldha had previously participated in the Dangdut Academy 2 auditions as well.

During the Audition round, Meldha sang the songs Tarik Selimut, Engkaulah Takdirku, and Jangan Buang Waktuku. She successfully made it to the Top 70 round representing West Java Province along with two other representatives.

In the Top 56 round, Meldha performed the song Cinta Rahasia popularized by Elvi Sukaesih. She received 1 Standing Ovation (SO) from Nassar. She also achieved the highest polling.  

Nassar also mentioned that Meldha has a resemblance to Selfi Yamma. As it is known, Selfi is the champion of LIDA 2018 and D'Academy Asia 4 in the same year. 

Meldha apparently already has a fanbase account on Instagram called Meldharling. The account uploads clips of Meldha's performances and asks for support from netizens to support Meldha through polling.
