After Being Divorced for the First Time by Her Ex-Husband, Jenita Janet Was Confused for Months

Kapanlagi.com - Jenita Janet has finally officially divorced her ex-husband, Arief Hedy Nurmaulid. And today, Friday (10/7/2020), Janet, accompanied by her legal counsel, Dendy Zuhairil, came to the Bekasi Religious Court to obtain the divorce certificate.

Seeing the divorce certificate for the first time, Jenita Janet recalled the moment when her ex-husband pronounced the first divorce to her. Getting divorced by her husband, this 33-year-old dangdut singer even admitted to feeling confused for months.

"Actually, he pronounced the divorce in September, I remember September 10, 2019. September, October, November, December, January, those were the months of my confusion," said Jenita Janet when met at the Bekasi Religious Court, Friday (10/7/2020).

"I couldn't strengthen myself. At that time, his heart was shaken as if he couldn't accept the reality, there was indeed something at stake for me," she continued.

1. Does Not Want His Life to be Wasted in Vain

There is a reason why Jenita Janet insists on divorcing Alief. Although she has to go through a long process, she is willing to do it for her own life. She does not want her life to be wasted in vain with her failed marriage. 

 "The opportunity in my remaining life, I don't know how far Allah will give, I don't want it to be wasted in vain, I make the decision right away. Even though it was a very thoughtful decision, divorcing my ex-husband has gone through many processes, discussions, and the final decision through istikoroh. Alhamdulillah, everything is open, I still maintain good relations with my ex-husband," she explained.

2. Still Maintaining Good Relations

Nevertheless, Jenita Janet admitted that she still maintains good relations with her ex-husband. However, she cannot forget what her husband has done to her.

"In any case, he has written the history of my life. We both went through the marriage together. Again, the reason why I filed for divorce is because of something very fatal after years of trying to be patient," she concluded.
