One of Ayu's friends, Anwar BAB, initially thought that this news was not true. However, after seeing Ayu Ting Ting's clarification, Anwar finally believed it.
"I was really shocked, because she's my friend. Let's just pray for the best. Bu Ayu is a good person, she will definitely find a good partner. Maybe Allah has something better planned for her. Sometimes, when we see news like this, we can't believe it. Is it true? Sometimes, netizens create things that aren't even real," said Anwar BAB when met in Tendean, South Jakarta, recently.
"I was initially skeptical of the rumors. But when I found out that Bu Ayu had clarified it, I thought, well, that's Ayu's choice," he continued.
Anwar also believes that what happened to Ayu was destined by a higher power. According to him, Ayu is still lucky because she didn't end up getting married.
"Don't let it happen after marriage, breaking up (divorce), that's more painful," he said.
In addition, when asked further, Anwar admitted that he had no idea why Ayu canceled her wedding with Muhammad Fardhana. Anwar explained that Ayu never talked about her relationship with the TNI member.
"I don't know perfection is only owned by Allah. Whatever doesn't happen means it's not meant for us, so it's not the best," he concluded.
