Apart from Covid-19, Singer Neneng Anjarwati Died Due to Underlying Disease

Kapanlagi.com - The family of the late Neneng Anjarwati finally spoke up about the news of the death of the singer of the song Merpati Putih. Daviz Anugrah, Neneng's youngest son, spoke on behalf of his family about the news of his mother's death.

When met at Malaka Residence, East Jakarta, on Wednesday (14/7), Daviz said that before being declared positive for Covid-19, the late Neneng Anjarwati did have an underlying disease. He mentioned that his mother suffered from acute gout and diabetes.

"Diabetes. Well, if it's a mild case of Covid, it's possible to recover because there are no serious underlying diseases. But my mom had acute gout and diabetes, so her immune system was really affected," Daviz Anugrah explained.

1. In Still Positive Covid-19 Condition

However, Daviz dare not confirm whether the late Neneng was still in a positive Covid-19 condition when she passed away. He said that the only person who knows for sure is his older brother.

"Yes, she was buried according to the (Covid-19) protocol. Maybe you could say that (she was still positive), but my brother is the one who knows for sure," he said.

2. Passed Away at the Age of 54

In addition, when still in the ICU, Daviz, who was not by his mother's side at the time, was contacted by his sister to come to the hospital, but he didn't know the reason. After arriving at the hospital, Daviz burst into tears because his mother had gone forever.

"Last night I returned from PMI around eleven o'clock, when I got home my brother might have had a premonition, so he said 'go to the hospital, mom doesn't want to be left behind', but he said mom was no longer there. When I got there, I was shocked, I cried when I found out," he said.

In addition, Daviz Anugrah said that his mother, Neneng Anjarwati, passed away at the age of 54. Neneng left behind three children, including himself.

"54 years old, leaving behind three children, including Daviz," he said.
