There is no special reason for the new hairstyle of the singer of the song Alamat Palsu. When asked if her new style is to match Bilqis Khumairah Razak, Ayu said she just wants a new appearance.

"Yes, but Bilqis, my daughter, naturally has curly hair," she said.

"No big deal, I just want to have curly hair, I want to find a new atmosphere with a new appearance," she added.

Ayu Ting Ting's new appearance has received many praises from fellow artists. Ussy Sulistiawaty and Siti Badriah, for example, praised Ayu's new look through comments on Instagram.
