In a live Instagram session with Kapanlagi.com and Indosiar, on Wednesday (16/2), Aulia revealed that choosing the right song can greatly increase the chances of participants passing or not passing the audition stage.

"At that time, I did choose a song that I liked, so automatically I had sung it many times, a song that I really like and that I have mastered from the melodic and notation aspects, and thirdly, a song that we like is definitely something that we have practiced a lot when performing it," said Aulia DA.

However, Aulia emphasizes that it is not enough to only master one song. As a prospective professional dangdut singer, knowledge of other dangdut songs is also very important because in an audition, there may be impromptu challenges from the judges.

"It's a must. At that time, Aulia wrote the song 'Mata Hatiku' by 'Iis Dahlia', then the song 'Bimbang' which is a favorite song and now it has become a mandatory song for the DA 5 audition," she said.

2. Expand Knowledge of Dangdut Songs

It is possible that the judges of the talent search event will test the participants with other songs suddenly. To prepare for that, Aulia apparently already has some tips.

"Alhamdulillah, during the audition, I performed that song, Aulia's signature song. But sometimes, besides the songs we like, there will definitely be other challenges to perform other songs, so we really have to prepare ourselves and broaden our knowledge about dangdut songs," she continued.

3. Sweet Memories Joining Dangdut Academy 4

In addition, Aulia also reminisces about the moment when she was still in the audition stage for Dangdut Academy 4, where she was faced with three celebrity judges, namely Beniqno, Nassar, and Inul Daratista. At that time, Aulia admitted that she felt very satisfied with her performance, which received praise from the judges.

"Aulia performed the song Mata Hatiku and Bimbang during the audition. At that time, the judges were Beniqno, Nassar, and Inul Daratista. I was satisfied with my performance in that audition stage because I had already mastered and liked the songs I chose," she said.
