However, of course, all of that cannot be done easily without thorough preparation. Therefore, Fildan revealed the secret to being able to perform successfully on stage.

1. Character

"Actually, it's not as smooth as it seems. But what I have instilled is the practice of never getting bored, being creative, patient, sincere, and most importantly, never giving up on prayers," said Filda DA during a live session with Kapanlagi.com and Indosiar, Friday (18/2).

"For example, if there is something lacking, we have to practice again so that we can be better tomorrow. Find a song that suits our own character and then we'll be ready. Because exploring a song must be in line with our soul," he continued.

2. Harsh Criticism

Fildan also recalled the time when he received harsh criticism from the jury when he was still on the stage of Dangdut Academy 4. He admitted that the criticism affected his mental state and he almost cried at that time.

"Remember, when I made a mistake in the lyrics, I was scolded harshly by the jury, but thankfully I was strong enough not to cry. Singers are like that, especially in competitions, there's always something happening. The stage is indeed magical," he said.

3. Motivation

In addition, according to Fildan, criticism and feedback from the judges should be used as motivation to perform even better. Therefore, for Fildan, cultivating positive thoughts is important in order to strengthen his mental state.

"Criticism should be overcome without letting it bring you down. Instead, use it as a driving force to improve. I always instill positive thoughts in what is conveyed to me, if it is for the greater good, I digest it. Because criticism from the judges is good, that's why I never think negatively, I don't act arrogant, I stay patient," he concluded.
