Condolences, Vanessa Angel's Biological Grandfather Passed Away

Kapanlagi.com - Sad news came from Vanessa Angel's family. Today, Thursday (17/2), Doddy Sudrajat, Vanessa's biological father and grandfather, passed away at the age of 90.

The news was confirmed by Vanessa's stepmother, Puput Soedrajat. Through a brief message, Puput stated that her father-in-law passed away due to old age.

"Yes, it's true (passed away). He was already old, his age as well. He passed away at the age of 90," said Puput, Thursday (17/2).

Because it was already late at night when he passed away, the family decided to bury the late grandfather Vanessa tomorrow. The plan is to bury the deceased tomorrow and tonight he will be laid in the family's house.

"Tomorrow, the plan is at TPU Karet Bivak, Central Jakarta. But for that, we will discuss it with the family for the funeral," explained Puput.

2. Move Vanessa's Grave

Meanwhile, Doddy Sudrajat's desire to move Vanessa Angel's grave can no longer be stopped. Besides the will, there is something that he considers as an obstacle.

Quoted from Ageng Kiwi's Youtube channel, Doddy said that Vanessa's funeral procession did not comply with religious norms. The body was placed in a coffin, so it did not touch the ground.

3. Not Buried According to Islamic Norms

"Vanessa was not buried according to Islamic norms. She was buried in a coffin, so she did not touch the ground. Also, she was not facing the qibla. That's our family's wish for her to be buried in an Islamic way," said Doddy as quoted by KapanLagi.com.

4. Late Aunt Surprised Father

When asked about Doddy Sudrajat's statement, Faisal, the father of the late Febri Andriansyah, was clearly surprised. If indeed he felt that it violated Islamic principles, why didn't his son-in-law say so at that time.

As is known, Doddy also participated in the burial of Vanessa Angel and Febri Andriansyah. Faisal is surprised that this is only being made an issue now.

"Even though I wanted my child to be buried with my help there, but Doddy was the one who buried him there. If he wants to comment, he should have done so at that time," said Faisal when met in the Mampang area, South Jakarta, on Monday (14/2/2022).
