Dhena Devanka Receives Custody Rights & Child Support of 30 Million, Jonathan Frizzy Chooses to Appeal

"The cost of hadhanah (child custody) is indeed regulated by the husband or father who is responsible, as decided by the judge, the child support is imposed on Jonathan," said Risyad Rusdi, Dhena's lawyer after the trial at the South Jakarta Religious Court, Thursday (17/2).

"It's 30 million per month with a 10 percent increase per year, excluding education and health expenses," Risyad Rusdi added.

Sinarta Bangun, who is Ijonk's legal representative, directly conveyed everything about the divorce verdict. Likewise, Benny Simanjuntak, Ijonk's uncle, agreed with Ijonk's decision to file an appeal.

"So, I am somewhat disappointed, but what will be the decision? We still have a chance to appeal within 14 days if I'm not mistaken," said Benny Simanjuntak.

2. Alimony Still Too High

According to Benny, the alimony money initially requested by Dhena Devanka amounting to Rp 80 million and finally decided by the judge as Rp 30 million is still too high for Ijonk.

"30 million is too high, in my opinion, because Jonathan also doesn't have a stable job that generates monthly income. So, maybe I will call Jonathan first to ask if he wants to appeal, and it turns out he has informed Mr. Bangun that we will appeal," said Benny Simanjuntak.

3. Confused with Custody Decision

In addition, Sinarta Bangun also feels confused with the custody decision that falls on Dhena Devanka. Because, Dhena did not apply for custody and only asked for guardianship rights.

"And it needs to be emphasized as Mr. Beny said earlier, the plaintiff did not apply for custody," he concluded.

Meanwhile, Dhena Devanka is grateful that the divorce process, which took quite a long time, is finally finished. She admitted that she felt relieved even though her status has now changed to a widow.

"Although the process was quite exhausting for six months, of course, I am grateful to the legal team. Thank you also to my mother who has been providing endless support," said Dhena Devanka.

The end of her divorce process with a man affectionately called Ijonk has allowed Dhena Devanka to focus more on raising her three young children.

"And also so that my mom can stay healthy and live long to accompany me in raising her grandchildren," Dhena Devanka firmly stated.
