One of them is the reason behind the selection of INVU as the title track. Taeyeon Girls Generation revealed that her decision was initially rejected by everyone behind the scenes.

"When I heard the demo of INVU, I immediately thought, 'This is it!'. This is the behind-the-scenes story but honestly, the team working on the album with me disagreed with choosing this as the album title. It was a difficult situation because everyone said 'no' and I was the only one who said 'yes'," said Taeyeon.

Furthermore, Taeyeon Girls Generation also mentioned that this is a very bold decision. However, she is confident with her choice.

"It is a bold decision, but I have self-confidence. I also want to convince and show the team that this song should be the main song!" explained Girls Generation leader.

2. Recommend the song 'Heart'

When asked further about which song is the most memorable and she wants to recommend to fans besides INVU, Taeyeon chose the track Heart. What is her reason?

"It's difficult to choose just one because they are all special to me. From all the teasers, Heart is the only song that doesn't contain my vocals. You only hear the sound of bass guitar and it ends right after," said Taeyeon.

She continued, "The meaning is to express the formation of atmosphere that exists on the track. In the chorus part, there is an explosive emotion that feels very refreshing. The lyrics send a message to my fans and depict my appreciation for all their love, so it's very meaningful."

3. Feeling the Pain of Love

Taeyeon also revealed how she felt the first time she heard the song Can't Control Myself. She couldn't deny imagining someone feeling the pain of love.

"When I listened to the song Can't Control Myself for the first time, I thought about all these stories based on the emotions I felt at that time. The elements of the song such as the source and the voice helped me imagine the story. When I heard Can't Control Myself, I thought of someone whose heart was torn apart because of love," Taeyeon shared during the press conference held before the release of the album INVU on Monday (14/2).

4. Contributing to Writing the Lyrics of 'Can't Control Myself'

Because she could imagine how painful someone's feelings could be because of their love, Taeyeon was inspired to create a story. This story is what Taeyeon then poured into the lyrics of Can't Control Myself.

"From this concept, I imagined more pictures in my mind and developed a story that led me to participate in writing the lyrics," she explained.

5. Experience the Pain

When working on the MV Can't Control Myself, Taeyeon also revealed how she tried to get into the character of someone who feels pain due to love wounds. The proof is, Taeyeon successfully made you fall in love with her through her MV, right?

"When working on the MV, it is important for me to activate my imagination in my mind so that I can eventually act in the MV. I actually feel pain when expressing the emotions of the main character. I wear blood makeup and try to immerse myself in the character to convey every little detail of the pain, including wounds from sharp thorns. I put myself in the position of the character and maintain focus during the video production," Taeyeon explained.
