Before His Death, Singer Yus Yunus Suffered a Heart Attack

Kapanlagi.com - Dangdut singer Yus Yunus passed away early Friday morning (25/2) around 00.52 WIB. According to singer Hetty Soenjaya, before his death, Yus Yunus suffered a heart attack and was taken to a clinic near his house.

"At 1 am, his son called and said Yus Yunus was taken to the nearest clinic, Srengseng clinic, not long after that he passed away. They said it was a heart attack," said Hetty Soenjaya when contacted by reporters on Friday (25/2/2022).

The singer of the song Sapu Tangan Merah (Red Handkerchief), according to Hetty, had been suffering from heart disease for a long time.

"Yes, he had been suffering from heart disease for a long time. He had several heart attacks. This is just another heart attack, but last night was severe, according to his son," said Hetty.

Furthermore, Hetty Soenjaya expressed her sadness over Yus Yunus' permanent departure. As a senior, Yus Yunus was kind to his juniors.

Yus Yunus' body will be buried after Friday prayer at TPU Srengseng, near his residence.
